Terms of Service

1. The service

ListingTranslator translates Etsy listing content (titles, descriptions, tags) using artificial intelligence and publishes the translations to your Etsy shop via the official Etsy Open API, on your instruction. By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your Etsy account

You authorize ListingTranslatorto access your Etsy shop through Etsy's OAuth flow with listing read/write permissions. You can revoke this access at any time in your Etsy security settings or by disconnecting the shop in your dashboard. You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to modify the listings you translate.

3. Credits and payment

Translations are paid for with prepaid credits (1 translation = 1 listing × 1 language = 100 credits). Credits are sold as one-time packs through our merchant of record, Paddle, which handles payment, taxes and invoicing. Credits never expire and are non-transferable. If a translation permanently fails, its credits are automatically refunded to your balance.

4. AI-generated content

Translations are generated by AI and published to your shop without a manual review step. While we optimize for quality and enforce Etsy's format limits, we cannot guarantee that every translation is error-free. You remain responsible for the content of your listings.

5. Acceptable use

  • No use that violates Etsy's Terms of Use or API policies.
  • No attempts to disrupt, reverse engineer or overload the service.
  • No translating content that is unlawful or infringes third-party rights.

6. Availability and liability

The service depends on third-party APIs (Etsy, our AI provider, Paddle) and is provided "as is" without warranties. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim.

7. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard settings; this revokes stored Etsy tokens and anonymizes your data. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

8. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced on this page. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
